The Innovative Institution:

A Proven System to Cultivate and Sustain Innovation at your Institution

Green Belt Certificate Program

Most community colleges have pockets of innovation that create new products or services to address customer needs. However, without a proven, replicable framework, the chances of sustained innovation at your institution are low. This certification workshop introduces you and your team to an innovation system that uniquely addresses the needs and challenges of higher education and will build institutional capacity to spark and diffuse innovation throughout your institution. Throughout the program, you will learn how to master the art and science of innovation to drive new ideas and initiatives within your institution. In addition, you will complete a series of activities to apply a proven, replicable framework to create, iterate and implement your most innovative ideas. This framework and its supporting processes will help your team engineer innovation that impacts all aspects of your institution.

Who Should Register?

We invite teams of three from an institutional district or campus; teams can be at the beginning stages or experienced at sparking innovation at and diffusing innovation throughout the institution. We also encourage those who have attended HEI’s President as Entrepreneur or Administrator as Entrepreneur Institutes.
