Aviation Center of Excellence – Crestview, FL

Visit NWFSC’s state-of-the-art Aviation Center of Excellence. Through a collaboration with the Hsu Educational Foundation, NWFSC is addressing the need for personnel in the fast-moving and growing aviation industry by providing training in Professional Pilot Technology, Unmanned Vehicle Systems Operations, Aviation Airframe Mechanics, Aviation Powerplant Mechanics, and Commercial Pilot. 

Wednesday, Oct 11th:

9:00-10:00 a.m.

Raider Arena – Niceville, FL

Visit NWFSC’s Raider Arena and home of the FCSAA Region VIII State Tournament. This arena is not only home to the current NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball National Champions, it also serves as Okaloosa County’s largest evacuation shelter with the Okaloosa County Emergency Operations Center located on the south end of the facility.

10:00-11:00 a.m.

Kay Litke Culinary Arts Greenhouse/Esports Arena – Niceville, FL

Visit Northwest Florida State College’s on-campus hydroponic greenhouse. The Kay Litke Culinary Arts Greenhouse provides students with unique opportunities to learn about alternative farming techniques and equipping them with the skills and knowledge demanded in today’s hospitality industry.
