With more small American colleges closing, here's how they can stay open

Updated: Jun 16, 2021

With small colleges and universities across America struggling to stay open, Axios reports that it often comes down to them simply being unable to pay their bills.

Small private colleges and universities must diversify their revenue streams. Tuition and donors are very seldom enough to keep these institutions afloat in this day and time of necessary transformation. Additional and deeper revenue streams must be developed to provide for not only the essential transformation, but for future and sustained success.

We recommend that college presidents, administrators, and boards read Entrepreneuring the Future of Higher Education: Radical Transformation in Times of Profound Change published by the American Council on Education and Rowman & Littlefield and if they need help with transforming their institution, please contact us at Higher Education Innovation, LLC: https://www.heisuccess.com

Presidents who are dealing with these issues will want to attend our annual Presidents Conference this October to hear from more than a dozen college presidents on how they tackled the overwhelming issues facing their institutions. Register for early bird rates now: https://www.heisuccess.com/2021-presidents-conference

Together, we transform the future of higher education!
